I made this sculpture in my last year at school. I then was introduced to an artisan who cast this sculpture and led to my first few sales. The artisan, John Hardy, took me on as a apprentice at his workshop, where I learned skills in mould making and cold-casting; I continue to use these skills and am eternally grateful for what he taught me.
